About the Opportunity: 

With over 120 personnel currently on site, PIMS Group are now seeking motivated individuals with Underground Coal Experience to contribute to the success of this operation for a range of works. These opportunities are vital to operational success making this a unique chance for seasoned underground coal professional to showcase their expertise and contribute to the common goals of this operation. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Maintenance/Repair of face production equipment (Continuous Miners, Shuttle Cars, Mobile Roof Bolters, Breaker Feeders, LHD’s, Driftrunners) 
• Maintenance/Repair of Outbye Equipment
• Provide Maintenance Support to the scope of works required
• Execute specialised tasks related to underground maintenance in accordance with site SHMS;
• Collaborate with a skilled team of professionals to achieve project goals;
• Contribute to the continuous improvement and innovation of mining processes.

Qualifications & Experience: 

• Proven experience with Signed Transcripts as an Underground Fitter or Electrician;
• Australian Recognised Trade Certificate; 
• Electricians - EEHA and LVR/CPR;
• Fitters - DES, Brake Testing (Preferred); 
• Strong commitment to safety protocols and procedures;
• Ability to work effectively within a team and in challenging underground environments;
• Excellent problem solving skills and a proactive approach to each day on tour.
