PIMS Group is a leading provider of mining services to the underground coal industry, supplying operational, trades, professional and statutory personnel across multiple mine sites throughout the Bowen Basin.
  
PIMS Group is seeking applications from an experienced Business Support Officer to join our Group Services team based in Mackay.
  
This diverse role provides administrative support across our Human Resources and Accounts functions.  Responsibilities include recruitment and onboarding administration, accounts processing, customer claims administration, and general office administration to support the efficient operation of the business.
  
Key Responsibilities

• Provide general office administration and corporate support
• Support the Human Resources team with recruitment, onboarding and employee administration activities
• Assist the Accounts team with accounts payable, purchasing, customer claims administration, bank reconciliations and general accounts support
• Maintain accurate records and ensure timely processing of documentation
• Provide administrative support across various business functions as required

Skills and Experience
To be successful in this role, you will possess:

• Previous experience in an administration, accounts, recruitment or business support role
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Intermediate Microsoft Office 365 skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships at all levels
• High attention to detail and strong administrative capabilities
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately
• A proactive, adaptable and team-oriented approach
• Ability to work independently and take initiative when required
