About the Opportunity

PIMS Group are now seeking motivated individuals with Underground Coal Experience to contribute to the success of this operation for a range of works. Opportunities within our projects are vital to operational success making this a unique chance for an underground coal professional to showcase their expertise and contribute to the common goals of the project.

Key Responsibilities

• Currently hold a First, Second or Third-Class Certificate of Competency or Mutual Recognition;  
• Ability to comply with the Safety Health Management System, Coal Mining Legislation and all relevant statutory requirements;  
• Posses a strong work ethic with a great attendance record; 
• Comply with site procedures, instructions, and equipment specifications and limitations to ensure effective and safe use of equipment;
• Have the ability to define and communicate performance goals and provide regular and objective feedback on performance;
• Have a strong leadership ability and be able to problem solve complex situations as they arise;  
• Demonstrated Underground Coal experience in a similar role. 

• Minimum 2 years Underground Coal Experience;
• NSW Certificate of Competency;
• Strong commitment to safety protocols and procedures;
• Ability to work effectively within a team and in challenging underground environments;
• Excellent problem solving skills and a proactive approach to each day on shift.
