A Gas Plant Electrician for PIMS Group you will be ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the mine's gas extraction and distribution systems. This role involves installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems in gas plants, guaranteeing the reliability of gas monitoring and control equipment. The position requires a unique blend of electrical expertise, a profound understanding of mining operations, and a commitment to safety protocols. The ideal candidate will excel in a dynamic mining environment, demonstrating a strong focus on operational efficiency and adherence to safety standards. They will play a key role in maintaining consistent performance and compliance across site operations.

Skills and Qualifications

• Certificate IV Hazardous Areas;
• Current LVR/CPR Qualifications; 
• Australian Recognised Trade Certificate; 
• HV Switching Qualification (Desirable); 
• Strong commitment to safety protocols and the ability to promote a safety first culture;
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills;
• Ability to work autonomously and contribute effectively in a collaborative team environment.
