We're looking for a dedicated educator to join our team at St Agatha's Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) in Clayfield! We provide before school, after school, and vacation care for up to 75 children.
As an OSHC educator, you'll play a key role in ensuring the safety and enjoyment of children, ranging from young ones to pre-teens. Your responsibilities will include creating fun and educational activities, preparing and serving snacks, and maintaining cleanliness standards.
If you're excited about creating a supportive and fun environment for children outside school hours, we'd love to hear from you! We're seeking someone available for all afternoons and occasionally some mornings. Ideal candidates are enthusiastic, eager to grow within the industry, and open to learning and mentorship.

Key Responsibilities:
- Work with the children to create fun recreational and educational experiences that support their well-being.
- Provide children with a safe, secure, welcoming and nurturing environment.
- Work collaboratively within an established team to ensure the best outcomes for children and families.
- Participate in professional and personal development.
- Promote the service within the local community in accordance with Catholic Early EdCare’s expectations and educational philosophy.
Job Requirements:
- Previous childcare experience would be preferred.
- Hold a current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
- Knowledge and understanding of the childcare industry practices including legislative requirements and quality frameworks.
- A passion for the education and care of school aged children in a play-based environment
- Effective workplace communication skills
