About the Role Location:
Hendra Parish Hourly Rate: $32.09/hr (Casual)
Hours: A couple of days a week, flexible depending on workload
Hendra Parish is seeking a reliable and dedicated Grounds Maintenance Person to care for the grounds and assist with light maintenance tasks. This casual role offers flexibility in working hours, with schedules adjusted to meet parish needs, including funerals and special events.
Key Responsibilities:
- General gardening, including maintaining flowers, plants, trees, and climbers
- Leaf blowing and basic landscaping tasks
- Setup and preparation for parish events, such as arranging chairs and ensuring grounds are tidy
- Light handyman tasks as needed
- Assisting with occasional manual tasks for parish functions

- Casual hours spread across a couple of days a week, typically starting at 7:30 AM and finishing by early afternoon
