 We are small community focused service, located in Ashmore, next to Guardian Angels Catholic Primary School. We are looking for a flexible, motivated person to join our team, who values providing high-quality care and education to all children and fosters developing the uniqueness and potential of each child. 

Hours: Permanent Part-Time - 20+ hours per week. 
Remuneration: 10.25% Above award wages, recognising your experience and qualifications

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with the children to create fun recreational and educational experiences that support their well-being.
• Provide children with a safe, secure, welcoming and nurturing environment.
• Work collaboratively within an established team to ensure the best outcomes for children and families.
• Participate in professional and personal development.
• Promote the service within the local community in accordance with Catholic Early EdCare’s expectations and educational philosophy.

  Job Requirements:

• Holds a Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education & Care (or working towards) OR holds an equivalent qualification recognised by ACECQA 
• Hold a current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
• Knowledge and understanding of the child care industry practices including legislative requirements and quality frameworks.
• A passion for the education and care of children aged 6 months -Kindergarten aged in a play-based learning environment
• Experience working with children with additional needs would be a bonus
• Effective workplace communication skills
