We are looking to hire a permanent, part-time educator at Star of the Sea OSHC in Cleveland. Star of the Sea Outside School Hours Care offers before-school, after-school, and vacation care for up to 45 children.
Located in the heart of Cleveland, our small and welcoming service operates in a cozy school setting, where we create a nurturing environment for children to thrive, learn, and have fun. Our program encourages active play with sports like soccer, handball, and basketball, while also fostering creativity through arts and crafts.

Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Coordinator in the day-to-day operations of the service, including:
- Program planning, delivery, and documentation.
- Staff rostering and supervision.
- Administration and financial management tasks (e.g. fee collection)
- Assist in the delivery of a high quality, inclusive, educational program.
- Provide children with a safe, secure, welcoming, and nurturing environment.
- Promote the service within the local community in accordance with the Vision, Mission and Values of Catholic Early EdCare
Job Requirements: - Diploma in Children Services or equivalent as per ACECQA guidelines
- Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card), First Aid, CPR, Asthma/Anaphylaxis
- Consent to be the Responsible Person on site in the absence of the coordinator.
- Knowledge and understanding of the National Quality Framework, My Time Our Place framework and National Law/Regulations
- Experience in the education and care of children.
- Effective computer skills including experience with childcare management software (Xplor preferred)
- Effective workplace communication and leadership skills
