Our Service
St Elizabeth's OSHC, located in Tarragindi, is an integral part of our parish and school community. We care for up to 90 children, offering programs that cater to their diverse needs while ensuring a safe and engaging environment. We pride ourselves on fostering a culture of diversity and interdependence, helping children value and respect one another.
During vacation care, we provide a variety of activities, including cooking, craft, outdoor sports, reading, board games, puzzles, construction, and gardening, welcoming children from other schools to join in the fun.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operation of our Before and After School Care and Vacation Care programs, ensuring a safe and enriching environment.
- Lead a dedicated team of educators, inspiring and supporting them to bring out their best.
- Develop and implement innovative, play-based programs that cater to our children's interests and needs.
- Build strong relationships with children, families, and the school community, fostering a sense of belonging.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, maintaining a high level of care and safety.
- Promote our service within the local community in alignment with the Vision, Mission, and Values of Catholic Early EdCare.
What We're Looking For: - Qualified team member with a diploma or bachelor’s degree in early childhood education or equivalent.
- Prior leadership experience in an OSHC setting.
- A passion for creating engaging programs.
- Strong leadership skills to inspire and motivate teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Sound knowledge of relevant regulations and best practices in OSHC.
- Current First Aid Certification, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma Management Training, or willingness to obtain.
