We are looking for dedicated and enthusiastic Casual Educators to join our team at St Peter’s Outside School Hours Care in Caboolture.

St Peter’s Outside School Hours Care has been a part of the community since 1990, conveniently located behind St Peter’s Primary School.

At our center, we provide before school care, after school care, and vacation care for up to 105 children, fostering a fun, safe, and engaging environment where children can learn and grow.

We are seeking passionate individuals who love working with primary school-aged children and are committed to supporting their development in a positive and nurturing atmosphere.

A day in the life of an OSHC Educator…

• Providing nurturing care for children
• Ensuring a safe, secure and welcoming environment
• Create fun recreational and educational experiences that are inclusive for all.
• Maintain positive working relationships with all team members.
• Work collaboratively within an established team to ensure the best outcomes for children and families.
• Opportunity to attend fun excursions during vacation care.
• Feel excited to come to work to make a difference to the lives of children in our care!

Job Requirements:

• Certificate III or Diploma in Children Services (or working towards) or equivalent as per ACECQA guidelines would be desirable but not essential. 
• Hold a current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
• A passion for the education and care of school aged children in a play-based environment
• Effective workplace communication skills
