Join our team!  Xavier has an opportunity for a Physiotherapist who enjoys being a part of a multidisciplinary team, is self-driven, enjoys a varied caseload and is passionate about what they do.
Do you have experience or an interest in paediatrics?  Do you enjoy providing or would like to upskill into Aqua Therapy?  Do you enjoy work that has a lot of variety?  Even though the majority of the work we do is with paediatrics and young adults, for interested team members, there is the opportunity to provide some older adult and aged care supports.
This position is part-time and is based at Wooloowin and services the northern and inner southern Brisbane suburbs.   Ideally we are looking to fill 30 hours/week starting at the end of this year/beginning of next year but are very open to negotiation.

About you
To be successful in your new role you:
Must have:

• Recognised tertiary degree in Physiotherapy
• AHPRA registration & Medicare provider number (or willingness to obtain)
• Strong clinical and non-clinical problem-solving skills
• A client centred approach that is both professional and empathetic
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of our multi-disciplinary team
• Ability to provide services that are mostly mobile in the community, along with some taking place in Xavier clinics
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Meet suitability requirements including willing to undertake a police check and an NDIS worker screening check
• Current Australian driver's licence and reliable vehicle
• Completion of NDIS Code of Conduct modules
• Note: unfortunately Xavier is unable to provide sponsorship for Visas or supervision to obtain AHPRA registration.

Nice to have:

• Experience in paediatric developmental assessments and intervention programs
• Experience providing Aqua Therapy
