About the Opportunity
Join our growing Stella Maris Outside School Hours Care in Maroochydore. We are looking for Early childhood Educators to work on a casual basis and harness work-life balance. We are seeking enthusiastic and fun-loving educators who are passionate about supporting children in their early years.
Our service is licenced for 90 children and provides Before, After School and Vacation Care. We're looking for an educator who's available for afternoon shifts (2pm - 5pm), with the flexibility to cover the occasional morning shift as needed.

Please note there is a two-week close down over the Christmas period.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with the children to create fun recreational and educational experiences that support their well-being.
- Provide children with a safe, secure, welcoming, and nurturing environment.
- Work collaboratively within an established team to ensure the best outcomes for children and families.
- Promote the service within the local community in accordance with Catholic Early EdCare’s expectations and educational philosophy.
- Participate in professional and personal development.
- You will be pivotal in developing our children's lifelong love of learning.
- Can build a strong rapport with our families, educators, and community.
Job Requirements: - Hold a current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
- Knowledge and understanding of the childcare industry practices including legislative requirements and quality frameworks.
- A passion for the education and care of children aged 6 months -Kindergarten aged in a play-based learning environment.
- Effective workplace communication skills
