We are seeking to appoint a casual Educator (Children’s Services Employee) at Immaculate Heart Outside School Hours Care in Leichhardt.

At Immaculate Heart Outside School Hours Care we provide before school care, after school care and vacation care to up to 60 children.  We are seeking enthusiastic and energetic educators who are passionate about supporting primary school aged children to grow and develop and are committed to seeing them learn and have fun in a happy and safe environment.

A bit about us... 

Immaculate Heart Outside School Hours Care is part of the wonderful Immaculate Heart School and Ipswich Parish community. We are located in the school hall and care for up to 60 children daily. We strive to foster an environment that celebrates diversity and interdependence and encourage our children to value and respect the individual uniqueness, spiritually and contribution of others. We encourage free play and provide both indoor and outdoor, individual and group experiences.
  
Key Responsibilities:

• Work with the children to create fun recreational and educational experiences that support their well-being.
• Provide children with a safe, secure, welcoming and nurturing environment.
• Work collaboratively within an established team to ensure the best outcomes for children and families.
• Participate in professional and personal development.
• Promote the service within the local community in accordance with Catholic Early EdCare’s expectations and educational philosophy.

  Job Requirements:

• Hold a current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
• A passion for the education and care of school aged children in a play-based environment
• Effective workplace communication skills
