Located in the heritage-listed St Cecilia's school building, our centre offers families the best of both worlds — modern facilities mixed with old-world charm. With high ceilings, French doors, and polished timber floors, our service provides a comfortable, home-like space where up to 49 children feel relaxed, safe, and truly at ease.
We're looking for a caring and enthusiastic casual Early Childhood Educator to join our wonderful team, supporting and caring for young children in a safe and positive learning environment. You'll be involved in planning engaging activities, supervising children, supporting their development, and building strong connections with families and fellow staff members.

Key Responsibilities:
- Work with children to create fun, inclusive recreational and educational experiences that support their wellbeing
- Provide children with a safe, secure, welcoming, and nurturing environment
- Work collaboratively within an established team to ensure the best outcomes for children and families
- Build strong rapport with families, educators, and the wider community
- Promote the service within the local community in accordance with Catholic Early EdCare's expectations and educational philosophy
- Play a pivotal role in developing children's lifelong love of learning
- Participate actively in professional and personal development
Job Requirements: - Hold (or are working towards) a Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or an ACECQA approved equivalent
- Hold a current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
- Hold or being willing to obtain National Child Safety Training - Course 1 & 2, Course 3 & 4 not compulsory but highly regarded
- Knowledge and understanding of childcare industry practices including legislative requirements and quality frameworks
- A passion for the education and care of children aged 6 weeks to Kindergarten age in a play-based learning environment
- Effective workplace communication skills
