An exciting opportunity has arrived on the Sunshine Coast — Notre Dame College OSHC in Bells Creek is a brand new service, and we're looking for enthusiastic and caring casual Educators to help us build something truly special from the ground up.
Located within the grounds of a brand new school, our service offers a dedicated OSHC space close to key school facilities and a playground, providing before and after school care for up to 60 children. This is a rare and rewarding opportunity to join a growing community from the very beginning — helping to shape the culture, environment, and experiences that children and families will cherish for years to come.

A Day in the Life of an OSHC Educator…
No two days are the same at Notre Dame College OSHC! You'll play a key role in creating a positive and engaging experience for children before and after school. Your day may include:
- Providing warm, nurturing care for children across before and after school care
- Creating a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for all
- Designing and delivering fun, inclusive recreational and educational experiences
- Maintaining positive working relationships with all team members
- Working collaboratively within the team to ensure the best outcomes for children and families
- Joining exciting excursions and special events during vacation care
- Feeling proud to come to work knowing you're making a real difference in children's lives every day
Job Requirements: - Hold (or are working towards) a Certificate III or Diploma in Children's Services or an ACECQA approved equivalent — desirable but not essential
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certifications (or willingness to obtain)
- Hold a current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
- Knowledge and understanding of the National Quality Framework, My Time Our Place framework, and National Law/Regulations (or ability to acquire)
- Some experience in the education and care of children is preferred
- Effective oral and written communication skills within the workplace
- Completion of Child Safety Courses 1 & 2 (mandatory); Courses 3 & 4 highly regarded.
