Administration Officer - Liturgy Brisbane
Location: Brisbane CBD, QLD

Liturgy Brisbane is an agency of the Catholic Archdiocese of Brisbane dedicated to supporting the liturgical life of the Church through education, formation, consultation services, and the development of liturgical resources. Working closely with parishes, schools, and communities across the Archdiocese and beyond, Liturgy Brisbane promotes full, conscious, and active participation in the liturgy through workshops, courses, seminars, publications, and training opportunities.

About the Role
Reporting to the Director of Liturgy Brisbane, the Administration Officer provides comprehensive administrative and operational support across the organisation. This role plays an important part in supporting education programs, publications, e-commerce operations, financial administration, and customer service functions.
This is a permanent part-time position working 22.5 hours per week across Wednesday to Friday, with the potential for the role to transition to full-time hours next year as operational needs continue to grow.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality administrative and operational support to the Liturgy Brisbane team
- Manage enquiries via phone, email, and in person with professionalism and care
- Coordinate meetings, correspondence, records, and office systems
- Support the management of the online shop, including customer orders and product administration
- Process invoices, payments, purchase orders, and financial records using MYOB EXO
- Assist with inventory management, stocktakes, and dispatch of publications and resources
- Maintain customer, subscriber, and contact databases
- Liaise with parishes, schools, internal teams, and external stakeholders
- Support publication distribution, electronic resource access, and promotional activities
About You To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Experience in administration, office coordination, customer service, or a similar role
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Confidence using Microsoft Office programs including Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Experience with financial administration processes such as invoicing and payments
- The ability to work independently while also contributing positively within a team
- A professional, approachable, and service-focused attitude
- An understanding of, or willingness to work within, a faith-based environment
- Current Working with Children Blue Card and Police Check (or ability to obtain)
