Seeking an experienced, diploma-qualified educator

We’re looking for a passionate Part-Time (25 hours per week) educator with a Diploma qualification and OSHC experience to join our team. This role includes training as a PIDTDC, with the opportunity to step into the Educational Leader position.

At St Francis College OSHC, we provide Before School Care, After School Care, and Vacation Care for up to 60 children aged 5–13, supporting the families of our vibrant school community.

A day in the life of an OSHC Educator…

• Providing nurturing care for children
• Ensuring a safe, secure and welcoming environment
• Create fun recreational and educational experiences that are inclusive for all

Job Requirements:

• Diploma in Children Services (or ACECQA equivalent) would be required
• Previous childcare experience
• Hold a current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
• Willingness to take Child Protection Training as required
• A passion for the education and care of school aged children in a play-based environment
• Knowledge and understanding of the National Quality Framework, My Time Our Place or Early Years Learning framework and National Law/Regulations or ability to acquire
• Effective oral and written communication within the workplace
