About the Role
The Catholic Archdiocese of Brisbane is seeking a professional and organised Administration Assistant to join the Episcopal Offices team at the Francis Rush Centre.
This role provides administrative support to the Archbishop's Office and the broader Episcopal Offices team, ensuring the smooth and professional operation of daily office functions. The position plays an important role in supporting senior clergy and maintaining a welcoming and efficient office environment.
You will work within a collaborative team committed to the values of being authentic, humble, collaborative, personable, innovative and professional.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the Director and Executive Assistants
- Undertake reception duties including calls, emails and enquiries
- Assist with diary coordination and correspondence preparation
- Maintain accurate filing systems and documentation
- Prepare basic reports and administrative documents
- Support a safe and respectful workplace in line with safeguarding standards
About You You are an organised and reliable administration professional who enjoys working in a collaborative environment and supporting senior stakeholders.
You will demonstrate:
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital filing systems
- Ability to manage confidential information with discretion
- Experience in office administration (ideally 3+ years)
- Understanding of Catholic structures or parish operations (desirable)
You will also be required to hold or be willing to obtain a
Blue Card and
National Police Check.
