St Thomas Outside School Hours Care is currently seeking a dynamic and dedicated individual to join our team as an Assistant Coordinator.

About Us:
Located within the vibrant St Thomas Primary School community, we cater to children from prep to grade six.

Committed to excellence, we proactively deliver the National Quality Framework and My Time Our Place Framework, fostering a nurturing atmosphere that encourages children’s engagement in a variety of play and leisure experiences.

Your Key Responsibilities will be:

• Lead the daily operations of the OSHC service, ensuring a safe, engaging, and well-organised environment.
• Plan and deliver creative, educational programs based on children’s interests and needs.
• Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with children, families, and school staff.
• Collaborate with and support your team to foster a welcoming, inclusive, and vibrant service culture.

What We're Looking For:

• Diploma in Children Services or equivalent as per ACECQA guidelines
• Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card), First Aid, CPR, Asthma/Anaphylaxis
• Knowledge and understanding of the National Quality Framework, My Time Our Place framework and National Law/Regulations
• Experience in the education and care of children.
• Effective computer skills including experience with childcare management software (Xplor preferred)
• Effective workplace communication and leadership skills  
• Willingness to take Child Protection Training as required
