We’re looking for enthusiastic Casual Educators who are passionate about making a difference in children’s lives and creating positive, engaging experiences every day.

About Our Lady of Lourdes OSHC Service:

• Located within the grounds of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Primary School, part of the Sunnybank Parish community.
• A longstanding service with over 20 years of operation, proudly supporting local families and the school community.
• Licensed to care for up to 120 children across before school, after school, and vacation care programs.
• We provide a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment where every child feels valued and supported.
• Our programs are designed to reflect each child’s interests, culture, strengths, and knowledge, encouraging independence and creativity.
• We actively promote belonging, identity, wellbeing, and cultural inclusion throughout our service community.

A Day in the Service as an Educator:

• Provide warm, nurturing care to support each child’s wellbeing and development
• Help create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment where all children thrive
• Design and lead fun, educational, and recreational activities tailored to diverse interests
• Build and maintain positive, respectful relationships with your team and the families we support
• Collaborate closely with a supportive team to deliver high-quality care and experiences
• Enjoy the chance to join exciting excursions during vacation care
• Feel proud knowing you’re making a meaningful difference in the lives of children every day

What Makes a Great Educator for Our Team:

• Certificate III or Diploma in Children Services or equivalent as per ACECQA guidelines
• Hold a current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
• Current First Aid and CPR certification
• A passion for the education and care of school aged children in a play-based environment
• Knowledge and understanding of the National Quality Framework, My Time Our Place or Early Years Learning framework and National Law/Regulations or ability to acquire
• Effective oral and written communication within the workplace  
• Willingness to take Child Protection Training as required
