We’re looking for casual educators to work across two Inner North OSHC centres: St Peter Chanel OSHC, The Gap (licensed for 90 children) and Mater Dei OSHC, Ashgrove West (licensed for 75 children). Both centres are part of the St John’s Wood/The Gap Parish Community and offer before school, after school, and vacation care.

Our programs are flexible, child-led, and celebrate children’s ideas, cultures, and interests. We support each child to explore, create, and discover something new every day.

A Day in the Life of an OSHC Educator…

• Provide nurturing care and genuine support for children in your care

• Design and lead fun, inclusive recreational and educational activities

What We're Looking For:

• Cert III or Diploma in Children Services (or ACECQA equivalent) or working towards.
• Hold a current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
• A passion for the education and care of school aged children in a play-based environment
• Knowledge and understanding of the National Quality Framework, My Time Our Place or Early Years Learning framework and National Law/Regulations or ability to acquire
• Effective oral and written communication within the workplace
