At Windsor Neighbourhood Child Care Centre, we’re all about creating a warm, welcoming space where children can learn, laugh, and grow. Our 52-place centre has a real “home away from home” feel — and we’re looking for a passionate, reliable Centre Cook to join our friendly team!

In this role, you’ll:

• Create and deliver nutritious, age-appropriate meals and snacks that align with national dietary guidelines
• Cater for individual dietary requirements, including allergies, intolerances, and cultural needs
• Maintain high standards of food safety and kitchen cleanliness at all times
• Collaborate with educators to support learning themes and special events through food
• Encourage healthy habits by creating fun and engaging food experiences for children and families

What You’ll Bring

• Previous experience as a cook or kitchen hand, ideally in early childhood, schools, or aged care settings.
• Relevant cookery/food studies would be desirable
• Strong understanding of child nutrition and meal planning.
• Food Safety Supervisor certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Excellent time management, communication, and organisational skills.
• A warm, team-oriented approach and passion for children’s wellbeing.
