At Windsor Neighbourhood Child Care Centre, we’re all about creating a warm, welcoming space where children can learn, laugh, and grow. Our 52-place centre has a real “home away from home” feel — and we’re looking for a passionate, reliable Centre Cook to join our friendly team!
In this role, you’ll:
- Create and deliver nutritious, age-appropriate meals and snacks that align with national dietary guidelines
- Cater for individual dietary requirements, including allergies, intolerances, and cultural needs
- Maintain high standards of food safety and kitchen cleanliness at all times
- Collaborate with educators to support learning themes and special events through food
- Encourage healthy habits by creating fun and engaging food experiences for children and families

Come join our small, beautiful centre in the heart of Windsor and help us make every mealtime meaningful. What You’ll Bring - Previous experience as a cook or kitchen hand, ideally in early childhood, schools, or aged care settings.
- Relevant cookery/food studies would be desirable
- Strong understanding of child nutrition and meal planning.
- Food Safety Supervisor certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Excellent time management, communication, and organisational skills.
- A warm, team-oriented approach and passion for children’s wellbeing.
