About the Role:
As the Educational Leader, you will champion excellence in teaching and learning across the service. You’ll mentor and support educators to provide engaging, inclusive, and high-quality programs aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guidelines (QKLG), and National Quality Framework (NQF).
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Leading and mentoring educators to deliver innovative, child-centred programs.
- Embedding CEEC’s purpose, values, and early learning philosophy into daily practice.
- Supporting and coaching staff to continuously reflect, improve, and achieve NQS excellence.
- Engaging families and the wider community to strengthen connections and support transitions.
- Leading curriculum audits, Quality Improvement Plans (QIP), and professional learning.
- Ensuring all practices align with regulatory standards and safeguarding policies.
About You:
You are an enthusiastic and reflective early childhood professional who is passionate about pedagogical leadership and empowering others.
Essential qualifications and attributes include: - Degree or Diploma in Early Childhood Education (ACECQA approved)
- Strong knowledge of the EYLF, NQS, and contemporary early childhood pedagogy
- Proven experience in an educational leadership role
- Demonstrated ability to mentor and support a team of educators
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
- Collaborative, proactive, and reflective approach to early childhood education
- Current Working with Children Check (WWCC), First Aid, and CPR certification
- Willingness to obtain Child Protection Training as required
