We’re seeking a passionate and experienced Centre Director to lead our newly acquired, well-established early learning service—formerly Mater Early Learning—located in the heart of South Brisbane.

About the Role:
As a
Centre Director/Manager you will lead the day-to-day operations of our purpose-built, architecturally designed multi-level early learning service. Partnering with an experienced leadership team, you’ll drive high standards in early childhood education, nurture a positive and collaborative team culture, and ensure the centre runs smoothly, safely, and in full compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities: - Provide strategic leadership for all centre operations, including workforce management, compliance assurance, and financial stewardship to ensure sustained organisational success.
- Champion a Safety-First Culture rooted in Catholic Early Edcare values, driving rigorous child protection, safety, and wellbeing frameworks across the service.
- Cultivate influential partnerships with children, families, staff, and stakeholders to foster an inclusive, engaged, and collaborative community.
- Lead the strategic oversight of educational program delivery alongside the Educational Leader, ensuring alignment with the National Quality Framework and best practice standards.
- Develop and empower high-calibre teams through visionary mentorship, targeted leadership development, and continuous professional excellence.
What we are looking for: - A strong Passionate Experienced leader eager to embrace change and lead a team.
- Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood), Advanced Diploma, or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of the Education and Care Services National Law & Regulations.
- Proven leadership and management experience within a large early childhood education service.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis certification, Blue Card, and relevant clearances.
- Current Child Protection Training.
