Centacare Home Safety Services provides home maintenance and repairs, security, minor modifications, information and referral services to older Australians and people with a disability. Our services have over 25 years of experience in delivering both State and Federal Government initiatives including Home Assist Secure, Commonwealth Home Support Program, Queensland Community Care services as well Veteran Affairs.
About the role:
As a Client Service Officer, you'll coordinate and schedule services, liaise with Field Officers and contractors, manage client requests, and ensure timely and high-quality service delivery. You’ll play a pivotal role in supporting service leaders and helping Centacare deliver flexible, person-centred care under programs like Home Assist Secure and the Commonwealth Home Support Program.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to client enquiries and coordinate service requests
- Schedule maintenance work and manage contractor communications
- Maintain accurate data and documentation in client systems
- Support continuous improvement and service quality reviews
- Assist with client intake, assessment, and case documentation
- Promote Home Safety programs and build stakeholder relationships
What You’ll Bring - Certificate III (or higher) in Business Administration or equivalent experience
- Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
- Experience in scheduling, contractor coordination, and customer service
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and client management systems
- A current Blue Card, Yellow Card, and National Police Certificate (or able to obtain)
- A valid driver’s licence
