We're hiring a Workforce Planning Coordinator for a six-month parental leave cover, with potential for extension.
Catholic Early EdCare is the early education provider of the Archdiocese of Brisbane, which offers over 134 long day care, kindergarten, and outside school hours care services across Hervey Bay, Gatton, and the Gold Coast.

Key responsibilities:
- Workforce planning: Collaborate with service leaders to align FTE needs, operations, compliance, and future workforce strategies.
- Casual Pool Recruitment: Drive end-to-end recruitment of casual educators to ensure service coverage and fill roster gaps.
- Casual and agency coordination: Strategically deploy casual and agency staff to meet daily service demands.
- Rostering compliance and systems: Optimise and audit rosters using Xplor to ensure compliance and system efficiency.
- Data and reporting: Deliver timely, actionable data and insights to support business decisions.
- Stakeholder engagement: Empower service leaders with tools and coaching on effective workforce planning and rostering.
- Continuous improvement: Shape workforce initiatives that boost flexibility, cut agency reliance, and optimise rostering.
- Culture, risk, and safety: Support a safety-first culture through strong rostering practices.
Job Requirements: - Proven experience in workforce planning, rostering, and managing casual/agency staff
- Previous recruitment experience would be beneficial
- Solid understanding of childcare (or related industry) regulations and industrial relations compliance
- Proficient in rostering systems (e.g., Xplor), Excel, and data analysis tools
- Strong communication skills with the ability to coach others on rostering best practices
- Skilled in data analysis and proactive problem-solving to enhance workforce efficiency
