Work Schedule: 37.5 hours per week (Monday – Friday)

Within this, the Adult Formation Team helps adults encounter Jesus in a deeply personal way, offering faith resources, online engagement, and formation events to inspire lifelong spiritual growth.
About the Role
Are you a creative storyteller passionate about bringing faith to life through engaging digital and print content? The Archdiocese of Brisbane is seeking a talented and enthusiastic Creative Communications Officer to join the Adult Formation team. You’ll play a vital role in developing inspiring resources, enhancing online presence, and supporting transformative events that help adults encounter Jesus Christ.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and design engaging formation resources for adult faith communities.
- Capture and edit video content, create social media campaigns, and manage email marketing.
- Implement a communications strategy focused on evangelization and community engagement.
- Maintain and update webpages and digital platforms for the Adult Formation team.
- Support retreats, courses, and prayer experiences that foster personal faith journeys.
- Uphold safeguarding, privacy, and workplace health and safety obligations in line with Archdiocesan and Fair Work standards.
What We’re Looking For - Proven experience in creating impactful digital and print resources (including video editing).
- Proficiency in social media platforms, online marketing, and email communication tools.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage projects and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Understanding and commitment to the mission of the Catholic Church in Brisbane.
- A team player with excellent interpersonal skills, initiative, enthusiasm, and attention to detail.
- Graphic design, photography, and podcasting skills are highly desirable.
