St Luke’s Long Day Care & Kindergarten is a 75-place service providing care to children aged 6 weeks to 5 years. This is an opportunity to join our team and be part of a service that is located in the heart of Capalaba, with deep connections to both the Local and School Communities.

About the Opportunity
As the Centre Director, harness your extensive experience and leadership qualities to engage and motivate your team, driving continuous improvement and provide children with a space to grow, and thrive. 

Our comprehensive programs cater to children from six weeks old through to those in the year before prep. In our kindergarten, children are immersed in a curriculum that explores different languages and cultures, fostering an appreciation for diversity and igniting a passion for new learning adventures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day to day operations of the service including staffing, administration and financial management tasks
• Demonstrate effective leadership support to the team of staff
• Oversee the delivery of a high quality, inclusive and educational program
• Provide children with a safe, secure, welcoming and nurturing environment
• Work collaboratively within an established team to ensure the best outcomes for children and families
• Promote the service within the local community in accordance with the Vision, Mission and Values of Catholic Early EdCare

Job Requirements:

• Previous experience in a Centre Director or Centre Manager role.
• Diploma in Children Services or equivalent as per ACECQA guidelines. 
• Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card), First Aid, CPR, Asthma/Anaphylaxis
• A strong understanding of Child Care legislation including the National Quality Framework, National Quality Standards, and Early Years Learning Framework & the QLD Kindergarten Learning Guidelines
• Effective computer skills including experience with childcare management software (Xplor preferred)
• Proven leadership and mentorship capabilities, including team development skills.
