About the Opportunity

At St Luke's we provide care for children from six weeks old, for up to a maximum of 78 children.
Hours: Harness work-life balance, or maximise your hours.
Remuneration: Enjoy 10.25% above award wages, Level 3.1 to Level 3.4, depending on qualifications and experience and as per the Children’s Services Modern Award 2010.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with the children to create fun recreational and educational experiences that support their well-being.
- Provide children with a safe, secure, welcoming, and nurturing environment.
- Work collaboratively within an established team to ensure the best outcomes for children and families.
- Promote the service within the local community in accordance with Catholic Early EdCare’s expectations and educational philosophy.
- Participate in professional and personal development.
- You will be pivotal in developing our children's lifelong love of learning.
- Can build a strong rapport with our families, educators, and community.
Job Requirements: - Certificate III or Diploma in Children Services (or working towards) or equivalent as per ACECQA guidelines would be desirable but not essential
- Hold a current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
- Knowledge and understanding of the childcare industry practices including legislative requirements and quality frameworks.
- A passion for the education and care of children aged 6 months -Kindergarten aged in a play-based learning environment.
- Effective workplace communication skills
