Join our growing team at Star of the Sea's Long Day Care and Kindergarten based in Cleveland. Be part of an exceeding service, that is passionate about delivering high quality education and care. The service cares for up to 75 children and is located in the heart of the Cleveland community. 

We are seeking enthusiastic and energetic educators who are passionate about supporting children in their early years. This is the role for you if you love helping them fulfil happiness through growing, development, and are committed to seeing them learn, all while having fun in a comfortable safe environment.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Work with the children to create fun recreational and educational experiences that support their well-being.
• Provide children with a safe, secure, welcoming, and nurturing environment.
• Work collaboratively within an established team to ensure the best outcomes for children and families.
• Promote the service within the local community in accordance with Catholic Early EdCare’s expectations and educational philosophy.
• Participate in professional and personal development.
• You will be pivotal in developing our children's lifelong love of learning.
• Can build a strong rapport with our families, educators, and community.  

Job Requirements:

• Hold a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care or ACECQA equivalent, or be studying or willing to enrol in study
  Hold a current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
• Knowledge and understanding of the childcare industry practices including legislative requirements and quality frameworks.
• A passion for the education and care of children aged 6 months -Kindergarten aged in a play-based learning environment.
• Effective workplace communication skills
