We're currently seeking dynamic Educators to join us at St Francis Xavier Outside School Hours Care in Goodna. Reporting to our Coordinator, you'll bring your enthusiasm and energy to the table, driven by a genuine passion for guiding primary school-aged children towards growth and development, all while ensuring they have a whale of a time in a safe and joyful setting.
At St Francis Xavier OSHC, we're the hub for before-school support, after-school excitement, and vacation care escapades, catering to a bustling community of up to 90 children and over 70 families from St Francis Xavier School and the wider parish community. Join us in making a positive impact while creating memorable experiences for the kids we serve.
Job Requirements:
- Holds a Cert III or Diploma qualification or higher relevant to working with Children - a range of study areas may be recognised including, behavioural science, community services, creative arts, education, nursing, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech pathology, sports and recreation, and human welfare studies. - Holds a current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
- A passion for the education and care of school aged children in a play-based environment
- Effective workplace communication skills
