Join Our Team at St Agatha's OSHC, Clayfield — Casual Educators Welcome!
We're looking for a passionate, driven, and enthusiastic casual Educator to join our team at St Agatha's Outside School Hours Care in Clayfield. This is a casual role of approximately 15 hours per week, covering before school care, after school care, and vacation care for up to 75 children.
We're looking for someone who is ready to commit to the role for a minimum of 12 months, shows genuine initiative, and brings energy and enthusiasm to everything they do. Ideally you'll be available across all days of the week, giving you the best opportunity to maximise your hours and become a consistent, valued member of our team.
A qualification in Child Care related qualification is not required for this role — however, if you are currently working towards a relevant ACECQA approved qualification, that is highly regarded and something we actively encourage and support.

Key Responsibilities:
- Work with children to create fun, inclusive recreational and educational experiences that support their wellbeing
- Provide children with a safe, secure, welcoming, and nurturing environment
- Prepare and serve healthy snacks and assist with maintaining cleanliness standards
- Work collaboratively within an established team to ensure the best outcomes for children and families
- Promote the service within the local community in accordance with Catholic Early EdCare's expectations and educational philosophy
- Participate actively in professional and personal development
Job Requirements: - A qualification in a Child Care related qualification (Certificate III or Diploma, or ACECQA equivalent) is not required — however working towards one is highly regarded
- Availability across all days of the week is ideal for this role
- Commitment to the position for a minimum of 12 months is expected
- Hold a current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
- Must have completed the Mandatory Child Protection (Geccko) Training or be willing to complete this before starting
- A passion for the education and care of school-aged children in a play-based environment
- A proactive attitude, genuine initiative, and a willingness to learn and grow
- Effective workplace communication skills
