Located on the grounds of St Francis College, our OSHC service is closely connected to the school community. We provide Before School Care, After School Care and Vacation Care for up to 60 children, offering a safe, engaging and welcoming environment where children can learn, play and thrive.
Our dedicated team delivers a play-based, child-led program that encourages children to explore their interests, strengths and creativity. We value children's voices and work alongside them to create meaningful experiences that reflect their ideas and passions.
As Coordinator, you'll have the opportunity to:
- Oversee the daily operations of the OSHC service, supporting up to 60 children across Before School Care, After School Care and Vacation Care
- Lead the planning and delivery of engaging, play-based programs that support children's learning, wellbeing and development
- Build and maintain positive, respectful relationships with children, families, school staff and the wider community
- Support, mentor and collaborate with a team of educators to drive quality outcomes and continuous improvement
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, policies and quality standards while fostering a positive team culture
- Create a safe, inclusive and welcoming environment where every child feels valued and supported
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced OSHC professional who is passionate about leadership, quality care and making a positive impact in the lives of children and families.
Requirements of the Role: - Diploma in Children Services or equivalent as per ACECQA guidelines.
- Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card), First Aid, CPR, Asthma/Anaphylaxis.
- Consent to being the Nominated Supervisor.
- Current completion (or willingness to complete prior to commencement) of mandatory National Child Training (via Geckko).
- Strong understanding of Childcare legislation, including National Quality Framework, Standards, and My Time Our Place.
- Previous childcare service management experience.
- Child protection training is a requirement of this role.
- Proficient with childcare management software (Xplor preferred).
- Demonstrated leadership skills for team development.
