Casual Educator Wanted – Regents Park OSHC

Do you enjoy working in a supportive team where no two days are the same? We're looking for enthusiastic Casual Educators to join our vibrant Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) service at Regents Park.
About Us Located within the grounds of St Bernardine’s Catholic Primary School, our OSHC service has been a trusted part of the local community for over 20 years.
Our service offers:
- A purpose-built OSHC facility designed specifically for school-aged children
- Access to the school hall, oval, and dedicated outdoor play areas
- Child-led learning experiences that encourage creativity, exploration, and independence
- Outdoor play, loose parts activities, and productive gardens where children help grow ingredients used in our daily menu
- A wide range of resources and experiences that cater to children's diverse interests, abilities, and strengths

We support up to 130 children each day and invest in our educators through ongoing professional development, mentoring, and opportunities to grow their skills and confidence.
About the Role As a Casual Educator, you will play an important role in creating a safe, engaging, and inclusive environment where children can learn, play, and build lasting friendships.
Your responsibilities will include: - Providing warm, nurturing care that supports children's wellbeing and development
- Maintaining a safe, secure, and welcoming environment
- Planning and facilitating fun recreational and educational experiences based on children's interests
- Building positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
- Working collaboratively within an established and supportive team
- Participating in exciting excursions and special events during Vacation Care
- Bringing energy, enthusiasm, and creativity to every day
What We're Looking For We're seeking educators who: - Have a genuine passion for working with children
- Enjoy being part of a collaborative team
- Are reliable, positive, and proactive
- Bring enthusiasm and creativity to children's experiences
- Current completion (or willingness to complete prior to commencement) of mandatory National Child Training (via Geckko).
- Want to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families
