At St Joseph's OSHC, North Ipswich, we're seeking a passionate and experienced Coordinator to lead an amazing service where relationships, community and quality care are at the heart of everything we do.
Licensed for up to 105 children across Before School Care, After School Care and Vacation Care, our service is a valued part of the St Joseph's school community, providing children with enriching experiences, meaningful connections and a place where they truly belong.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead Day-to-Day Operations
Oversee the smooth running of our Before School Care, After School Care, and Vacation Care programs, ensuring a safe, well-organised, and enriching environment for every child. - Inspire and Develop Your Team
Provide strong leadership to a dedicated team of educators through mentoring, coaching, and ongoing support, fostering a positive culture where staff feel valued, confident, and empowered to succeed. - Deliver High-Quality, Engaging Programs
Design and implement innovative, play-based learning experiences that reflect children’s interests, promote wellbeing, and align with the My Time, Our Place framework. - Build Meaningful Community Connections
Create and maintain strong, trusting relationships with children, families, school staff, and the wider community, ensuring every child feels a deep sense of belonging and inclusion. - Drive Quality, Compliance, and Continuous Improvement
Ensure the service consistently meets and exceeds regulatory requirements and quality standards, while proactively identifying opportunities to improve practices, systems, and outcomes.
Requirements of the Role: - Diploma in Children Services or equivalent as per ACECQA guidelines.
- Current completion (or willingness to complete prior to commencement) of mandatory National Child Training (via Geckko).
- Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card), First Aid, CPR, Asthma/Anaphylaxis.
- Consent to being the Nominated Supervisor.
- Strong understanding of Childcare legislation, including National Quality Framework, Standards, and My Time Our Place.
- Previous childcare service management experience.
- Child Protection training is required for this role.
- Proficient with childcare management software (Xplor preferred).
- Demonstrated leadership skills for team development.
