Catholic Early EdCare is seeking a dynamic and experienced OSHC Coordinator to lead our large, vibrant service at Runaway Bay, licensed for up to 120 children.
This is an exciting opportunity to take the lead in a well-established service within the Northern Gold Coast region. Our service provides Before School Care, After School Care, and Vacation Care programs designed to foster creativity, confidence, wellbeing, and connection. You will lead a dedicated team of educators, creating a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment where children feel supported, valued, and inspired every day.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of Before School Care, After School Care, and Vacation Care programs, ensuring a safe, engaging, and high-quality environment for all children.
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of educators, fostering a positive culture and supporting them to perform at their best.
- Design and deliver innovative, play-based programs tailored to children’s interests, promoting creativity, wellbeing, and development.
- Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with children, families, and the school community, creating a true sense of belonging.
- Ensure ongoing compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, maintaining excellence in care, safety, and service delivery.
- Actively promote the service within the local community, aligning with the Vision, Mission, and Values of Catholic Early EdCare.
Requirements of the Role: - Diploma in Children Services or equivalent as per ACECQA guidelines.
- Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card), First Aid, CPR, Asthma/Anaphylaxis.
- Current completion (or willingness to complete prior to commencement) of mandatory National Child Training (via Geckko).
- Consent to being the Nominated Supervisor.
- Strong understanding of Childcare legislation, including National Quality Framework, Standards, and My Time Our Place.
- Previous childcare service management experience.
- Child Protection training is required for this role.
- Proficient with childcare management software (Xplor preferred).
- Demonstrated leadership skills for team development.
