Lead with Purpose at Our Lady of Mt Carmel OSHC, Coorparoo
Are you an experienced leader ready to make a meaningful impact? We’re seeking a passionate OSHC Coordinator to lead our service, inspire a dedicated team, and create a safe, engaging and inclusive environment where children can thrive.
For over 20 years, Our Lady of Mt Carmel OSHC has been a trusted part of the parish and school community. We provide high-quality Before School Care, After School Care and Vacation Care for up to 105 children, fostering a space where play, connection and development come to life every day.
You’ll be supported by an Assistant Coordinator and an experienced Portfolio Manager, giving you the structure and guidance to succeed while still having the autonomy to lead your service with confidence.
Service Hours
- Before School Care: 7:00am – 8:30am
- After School Care: 3:00pm – 6:00pm
- Vacation Care: 7:00am – 6:00pm
About the Role As the OSHC Coordinator, you will take ownership of the day-to-day operations of the service, leading with purpose and creating a positive, high-performing team culture.
You will:
- Lead, mentor and inspire a team of educators to deliver high-quality care
- Design and implement engaging, play-based programs that reflect children’s interests
- Build strong, authentic relationships with children, families and the school community
- Ensure compliance with the National Quality Framework and all regulatory requirements
- Create a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment for all
- Promote the service within the local community in line with CEEC’s Vision, Mission and Values
Requirements of the Role: - Diploma in Children Services or equivalent as per ACECQA guidelines.
- Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card), First Aid, CPR, Asthma/Anaphylaxis.
- Consent to being the Nominated Supervisor.
- Strong understanding of Childcare legislation, including National Quality Framework, Standards, and My Time Our Place.
- Previous childcare service management experience.
- Proficient with childcare management software (Xplor preferred).
- Demonstrated leadership skills for team development.
