Elevate Practice. Drive Excellence. Transform Outcomes.
Are you a strategic pedagogical leader who thrives on turning “Working Towards” into “Meeting” — and “Meeting” into “Exceeding”?
We are seeking a high-impact Practice Excellence Manager to join our Support Office team. This is far more than a compliance role — it is a pivotal leadership opportunity for a visionary who understands that Assessment & Rating (A&R) is the heartbeat of service quality.

The Opportunity
Your mission is clear:
Within 12 months, drive measurable and sustained improvement across the portfolio.
You will lead the progression of several services from our network from “Working Towards” to “Meeting”, while simultaneously elevating “Meeting” services (the majority of our OSHC/LDC services) toward “Exceeding”.
What You’ll Deliver
- Strategic Leadership: Execute a targeted, evidence-based operational plan to uplift A&R outcomes across the portfolio
- Capability Building: Mentor and coach Service Leaders and Educators to strengthen on-the-ground practice
- Data-Led Decision Making: Analyse trends, identify risks, and unlock opportunities for quality improvement
- Subject Matter Expertise: Serve as the authority on National Regulations, NQS, pedagogy, inclusion, and A&R processes
- Portfolio Impact: Drive consistency, accountability, and excellence at a regional level
Success Measures - Within 6 months:
Demonstrable uplift in leadership capability, confidence, and practice across services - Within 12 months:
- All “Working Towards” services achieve “Meeting”
- Clear and active pipeline of services progressing to “Exceeding”
About You - Proven Leader: 5+ years’ experience in Portfolio or Regional Management within ECEC or OSHC
- Deep Expertise: Strong command of the NQS, EYLF/MTOP, and contemporary pedagogy, with a passion for inclusion

- Influential Coach: Skilled at engaging teams, building trust, and embedding sustainable change
