Catholic Early EdCare (CEEC) is looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst to help strengthen how data informs decision-making across one of Queensland's largest early education networks.
In this role, you will design and deliver enterprise dashboards, scalable reporting solutions, and robust data models using Power BI and modern data platforms that provide leadership teams with clear, reliable insight into operational and strategic performance.
You will be part of the Data & Analytics team within Digital & Business Transformation, working closely with operational leaders to ensure data is trusted, accessible, and actionable.

You will transform organisational data into high-quality dashboards and reporting environments that support strategic leadership decisions.

What You'll Be Responsible For Dashboard Development Design and develop
interactive dashboards and visualisations that support operational, executive and strategic reporting. Ensure data storytelling is clear, intuitive and actionable.
Data Modelling Build and maintain
robust data models that integrate information across multiple systems and datasets. Ensure reporting frameworks are scalable and aligned with enterprise data standards.
Reporting Automation Develop automated reporting solutions that
reduce manual effort and increase reporting efficiency. Implement repeatable processes for recurring reporting requirements.
Data Quality & Governance Monitor reporting accuracy and data consistency across systems. Support improvements to
data governance, integrity and reliability.
Analytics & Insight Analyse organisational data to identify
performance trends, operational risks and improvement opportunities. Translate analytical findings into clear insights for leadership teams.
BI Platform Management Maintain and optimise business intelligence platforms (Power BI preferred) and support integrations required for enterprise reporting.
Self-Service Reporting Develop reporting solutions that allow leaders and operational teams to
access trusted insights independently, reducing reliance on manual reporting requests.
What Success Looks Like Success in this role will be measured through:
- Accuracy and reliability of dashboards and reporting outputs
- Reduction in manual reporting through automation
- Adoption and usage of BI dashboards across operational teams
- Improvements in data quality across reporting environments
- Delivery of timely reporting aligned with organisational priorities
- Stakeholder confidence in the clarity and usefulness of analytics insights
What We're Looking For You will bring a combination of
technical BI capability and strong analytical thinking, with the ability to communicate insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Experience - Experience developing dashboards and reporting solutions using Power BI or similar BI platforms
- Strong capability in data querying, transformation and modelling
- Experience integrating data from multiple operational systems
- Proven ability to build automated reporting pipelines and scalable BI solutions
- Strong understanding of data governance and reporting integrity
Skills - Advanced analytical and problem-solving capability
- Ability to translate complex datasets into clear visual insights
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple reporting priorities in a dynamic environment
- Strong stakeholder communication and collaboration skills
Qualifications - Degree or certification in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Information Systems, or related discipline (or equivalent experience)
