We are seeking a permanent part-time Assistant Coordinator to join our welcoming team at Petrie Community OSHC in Petrie.
Located on the grounds of Our Lady of the Way Catholic Primary School, Petrie Community OSHC has proudly supported families in the community for over 15 years. Our service provides Before School Care, After School Care and Vacation Care for up to 90 children, creating a safe, engaging and supportive environment where children can learn, play and grow.
Our service is built on a strong family-focused approach. We value connection, kindness and creating a space where children feel comfortable, supported and valued — a true “home away from home” for the children and families in our care.
As the Assistant Coordinator, you will support the Coordinator in leading the day-to-day operations of the service, working alongside a dedicated team to deliver high-quality programs that support children's wellbeing, development and sense of belonging.

Key Responsibilities:
• Supporting program planning, delivery and documentation
• Assisting with staff rostering and team supervision
• Supporting administrative and financial tasks (including fee collection)
• Assisting in delivering a high-quality, inclusive education and care program
• Creating a safe, welcoming and nurturing environment for all children
• Promoting the service within the local community in alignment with the Vision, Mission and Values of Catholic Early EdCare
What We’re Looking For To be successful in this role, you will have:
• Diploma in Children’s Services (or ACECQA recognised equivalent)
• Current Blue Card, First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis certification
• Knowledge of the National Quality Framework, My Time Our Place and National Regulations
• Experience working with children in an education and care environment
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Confidence using computer systems and childcare management software (Xplor experience desirable)
