Catholic Early EdCare (CEEC) | Brisbane (Paddington) | Full-Time |
Safety isn't a policy.
It's a culture. And culture is built — person by person, service by service, every day.
Catholic Early EdCare is looking for a Safety Culture Specialist to help embed a Safety First Culture across one of Queensland's reputable early learning and OSHC organisations.
If you believe safety is something people live, not something they tick off... keep reading.
What You'll Be Doing
As our Safety Culture Specialist, you will:
Build culture, not paperwork
- Translate CEEC's safety strategy into real behavioural expectations
- Embed safety as something leaders model and teams feel
Drive QA2 uplift across the network - Support services to move beyond compliance into Exceeding practice
- Turn QA2 themes into clear, observable day-to-day behaviours
Partner, influence, coach - Work closely with Operations, Safeguarding, L&D, OD, and service leaders
- Coach leaders to become confident safety culture role-models
Design practical initiatives that stick - Deliver projects that strengthen safety maturity over time
- Measure impact through feedback, data, and service outcomes
Make safety meaningful - Help teams tell the story of safety through ownership, consistency, and shared language
- Build trust, accountability, and psychological safety across services

This role may suit someone from:

What matters most is that you bring:

- The courage to challenge and the warmth to support
Why CEEC? CEEC is a not-for-profit organisation where
