About the Opportunity
We are seeking to appoint a permanent part-time Assistant Coordinator to join our team at Joey's Outside School Hours Care based in Bracken Ridge.

Our Service
Joey’s Outside School Hours Care is conveniently located within the school grounds and we are fortunate to have full access to all amenities to enhance our outside school hours care program. We provide before school care, after school care and vacation care for up to 175 children. Our collaborative, inclusive and hardworking team would love to welcome you.
Hours: 23 hours per week
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Coordinator in the day to day operations of the service, including:
- Program planning, delivery and documentation
- Staff rostering and supervision
- Plan and deliver a high quality, inclusive, educational program
- Support children to grow and develop and are committed to seeing them learn and have fun in a happy, safe and nurturing environment.
- Participate in professional and personal development.
- Administration and financial management tasks (e.g. fee collection)
- Assist in the delivery of a high quality, inclusive, educational program
- Provide children with a safe, secure, welcoming and nurturing environment
- Promote the service within the local community in accordance with the Vision, Mission and Values of Catholic Early EdCare
Job Requirements: - Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card), First Aid, CPR, Asthma/Anaphylaxis
- Consent to be the Responsible Person on site in the absence of the Coordinator
- Knowledge and understanding of the National Quality Framework, My Time Our Place framework and National Law/Regulations
- Experience in the education and care of children
- Effective computer skills including experience with child care management software (Xplor preferred)
- Effective workplace communication and leadership skills
- Diploma in Children Services or equivalent as per ACECQA guidelines (Desirable)
