Assistant Coordinator Wanted – Lead, Inspire & Create at St Oliver Plunkett OSHC!
Location: Cannon Hill 
Service Capacity: 225 amazing children
Hours: Permanent, part-time 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday, split shifts

St Oliver Plunkett OSHC is looking for a vibrant and motivated Assistant Coordinator to help guide our service into its next exciting chapter.

Based on the grounds of St Oliver Plunkett Primary School, our OSHC is a buzzing hub where children's curiosity takes centre stage.

With a dedicated OSHC room, multiple outdoor adventure spaces, and a handy undercover play area, you’ll have everything you need to dream big and deliver unforgettable experiences.

Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Coordinator in the day-to-day operations of the service, including:

• Program planning, delivery, and documentation
• Staff rostering and supervision
• Assist in the delivery of a high quality, inclusive, educational program
• Provide children with a safe, secure, welcoming, and nurturing environment
• Work collaboratively within an established team to ensure the best outcomes for children and families
• Participate in professional and personal development
• Consent to be the Responsible Person on site in the absence of the coordinator.

What We're Looking For:

• Diploma in Children Services or equivalent as per ACECQA guidelines.
• Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card), First Aid, CPR, Asthma/Anaphylaxis.
• Consent to being the Nominated Supervisor.
• Strong understanding of Childcare legislation, including National Quality Framework, Standards, and My Time Our Place.
• Previous childcare service management experience.
• Child protection training is a requirement for this role.
• Demonstrated leadership skills for team development.
