Catholic Early EdCare is seeking an experienced Leadership Trainer to support newly promoted and emerging leaders across our early learning and OSHC services.
This role exists to help educators and service leaders successfully transition into leadership — learning how to lead people, model values, manage performance, and create positive, high-performing team cultures.
We are seeking someone who understands leadership in practice, not just theory — and who can design and deliver engaging, practical learning that enables leaders to lead with confidence, consistency, and integrity.
About the Role
As a Leadership Trainer, you will design, deliver, and continuously improve leadership development programs for new and existing leaders across CEEC.
Your focus will be on practical, real-world leadership capability, supporting participants to:
- Lead by example
- Manage and support people effectively
- Build psychologically safe, high-performing teams
- Navigate challenging conversations and performance management
- Apply values-based leadership in everyday decision-making
You will work closely with Operations, Quality, and People & Culture teams to ensure leadership development is aligned with CEEC's values, culture, and operational realities.
Key Responsibilities - Design and deliver leadership training programs for emerging and newly appointed leaders
- Facilitate workshops focused on people leadership, communication, accountability, and role modelling
- Support leaders transitioning from educator or practitioner roles into management positions
- Deliver training using adult learning principles and practical, scenario-based facilitation
- Coach leaders to apply learning in real service environments
- Contribute to the ongoing development of leadership frameworks, tools, and resources
- Evaluate program effectiveness and continuously improve content and delivery
About You You are a confident facilitator and experienced leadership development professional who understands the realities of leadership in early education or similarly complex, people-focused environments.
You will bring:
- Experience designing and delivering leadership training or development programs
- Ideally, a background in early childhood education, education leadership, or community services
- Strong understanding of people leadership, team dynamics, and culture
- Excellent facilitation, coaching, and communication skills
- The ability to connect with leaders at different stages of confidence and capability
- A practical, values-led approach to leadership development
