We’re seeking an Assistant Coordinator to join our vibrant St Columba’s OSHC team, working across before school, after school, and vacation care.

Our service supports up to 150 children each day, providing high-quality care and supervision in a safe, welcoming environment.

We focus on sparking creativity, encouraging self-directed play, and bringing children’s interests and hobbies to life.

We’re looking for an efficient and detail-oriented administrator who is passionate about supporting children’s growth. A good sense of humour and a team spirit will fit right in!

Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Coordinator in the day-to-day operations of the service, including:

• Program planning, delivery, and documentation
• Staff rostering and supervision
• Assist in the delivery of a high quality, inclusive, educational program
• Provide children with a safe, secure, welcoming, and nurturing environment
• Work collaboratively within an established team to ensure the best outcomes for children and families
• Consent to be the Responsible Person on site in the absence of the coordinator.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma in Children Services or ACECQA Equivalent
• Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card), First Aid, CPR, Asthma/Anaphylaxis
• Knowledge and understanding of the National Quality Framework, My Time Our Place framework and National Law/Regulations
• Child protection training is required for this role.
• Effective computer skills including experience with childcare management software (Xplor preferred)
• Experience in the education and care of children
• Effective workplace communication and leadership skills
