Guardian Angels Outside School Hours Care (OSHC), Wynnum is seeking a motivated team member to join our vibrant, welcoming service.

We proudly provide high-quality before school care, after school care and vacation care for up to 141 primary school-aged children. As an Educator, you’ll play an important role in creating a safe, clean and engaging environment, while delivering fun, interactive experiences that inspire children every day.

A Day in the Life of an OSHC Educator

• Provide nurturing, supportive care for children
• Create and maintain a safe, secure and welcoming environment
• Plan and deliver fun, inclusive recreational and educational activities
• Build positive, respectful relationships with children, families and team members
• Work collaboratively within an experienced, friendly team
• Join exciting excursions during vacation care
• Finish each day knowing you’ve made a meaningful difference

What You’ll Need

• Certificate III or Diploma in Children’s Services (or working towards) – desirable but not essential.
• A current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
• A passion for supporting school-aged children in a play-based environment
• Knowledge of the National Quality Framework, My Time Our Place, and relevant legislation (or willingness to learn)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
