About our OSHC Service:

Working in close partnership with St Stephen’s School, our Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) service provides high-quality before and after school care for up to 150 children.

We deliver a diverse range of indoor and outdoor experiences in a fun, safe and welcoming environment that supports each child’s growth and development. Our well-resourced service ensures children have access to engaging activities that reflect their interests and needs.

Our priority is to create a safe, inclusive and enjoyable space where children can explore, learn and thrive — building confidence and skills that support future success.

A Day in the Life of an OSHC Educator

• Provide nurturing care and meaningful support for children
• Create and maintain a safe, secure and welcoming environment
• Design fun, inclusive recreational and educational experiences
• Build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues
• Work collaboratively with a dedicated, supportive team
• Join in exciting excursions during vacation care
• Finish each day knowing you’ve made a real difference in children’s lives.

Job Requirements:

• Certificate III or Diploma in Children Services or equivalent desirable but not essential.
• Hold a current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
• A passion for the education and care of school aged children in a play-based environment
• Knowledge and understanding of the National Quality Framework, My Time Our Place or Early Years Learning framework and National Law/Regulations or ability to acquire
• Effective oral and written communication within the workplace
