OSHC Educators – Join Our Fun, Supportive Team at St Flannan’s
St Flannan’s Outside School Hours Care is growing, and we’re on the lookout for passionate, energetic and dedicated Educators to join our team.
We provide before school care, after school care and vacation care for up to 60 primary school-aged children, creating a safe, engaging and community-focused environment where children feel they belong.
About Our Service
Since 2012, we’ve proudly supported our local community with a warm, inclusive OSHC program where children lead the way. Our days are filled with a variety of fun, hands-on experiences, including:
- Soccer, photography, gardening, arts and crafts — and more
- A small, close-knit team that brings fun and learning into every day
- A strong focus on community connection
- A convenient location just a short walk from the train station and busway

A Day in the Life of an OSHC Educator - Provide nurturing, responsive care to school-aged children
- Create a safe, welcoming environment where every child feels valued
- Plan and deliver exciting recreational and educational experiences
- Build positive, professional relationships with families and team members
- Work collaboratively within a friendly, supportive team
- Enjoy fun excursions during vacation care
- Finish each day knowing you’ve made a real difference.
What We’re Looking For - Certificate III or Diploma in Children’s Services (or currently studying) – desirable
- Current QLD Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
- Passion for supporting children in a play-based, child-led environment
- Understanding of the NQF, My Time Our Place, or EYLF, or willingness to learn
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
