The Opportunity
As a Junior Insights Analyst, you’ll play a vital role in turning complex operational data into actionable insights that inform smarter decisions and continuous improvement across our organisation.
This is an exciting opportunity for an early-career professional who enjoys problem-solving, interpreting data, and developing practical solutions that make a tangible difference for frontline teams.
Working closely with leaders across operations, finance, and service delivery, you’ll support initiatives that strengthen performance, improve processes, and help us achieve our mission of providing outstanding care and education to Queensland families.

Key Responsibilities

• Operational Data Interpretation: Analyse and interpret data from sources such as rostering, ratios, and attendance to uncover insights that inform operational and process improvements.
• Translate complex datasets into clear, practical recommendations and processes that frontline teams can easily understand and adopt.
• Identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities to enhance business performance.
• Support ongoing reporting and performance monitoring across multiple business areas.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data-driven insights lead to measurable improvements in service delivery and operational outcomes.

About You
You’re curious, detail-oriented, and passionate about using data to improve real-world outcomes. You thrive on finding clarity in complexity and enjoy communicating insights in ways that inspire understanding and action — from senior leaders to frontline educators.
You’ll bring:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to accuracy and detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present data-driven insights clearly and practically.
• Exposure to dynamic industries such as retail, hospitality, telecom or other multiple dynamics sectors is an advantage.
• A degree in Business, Analytics, Commerce, or Data Science is desirable (but not essential).
• Working knowledge or a solid foundation in Python and SQL for data analysis is preferred (but not essential).
• A genuine interest in contributing to a values-driven organisation dedicated to supporting children and families.
• Full permanent working rights in Australia
