Casual OSHC Educators – Queen of Apostles Senior Outside School Hours Care
About our Service
Supported by Our Lady Queen of Apostles Primary School and Parish
Located in the heart of Stafford
Caring for up to 75 children across Junior and Senior campuses
Focused on play-based, age-specific, child-led learning
We are specifically looking for educators who are eager to learn and passionate about creating engaging opportunities for children.
If you are available on Tuesday and Thursday and can cover at minimum 2/3 afternoons in a week and love ART and Crafts, we would love to hear from you.
Additional morning and vacation care hours are also available at the service with lots of opportunity to maximise hours by working at other CEEC services in the area.
What you’ll be doing as an OSHC Educator:
Welcoming and caring for children in a safe, nurturing environment
Supporting play-based learning and development through fun, engaging activities
Building positive connections with children, families, and your team
Assisting with program planning and delivery
Creating inclusive experiences that reflect the needs, interests, and abilities of all children
What we’re looking for:
A current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
An ACECQA-approved school age qualification (or working towards) – a wide range of study areas may be recognised, including education, community services, sports, creative arts, and more
A genuine passion for caring for and educating school-aged children
Knowledge (or willingness to learn) of the National Quality Framework and My Time, Our Place
